I used the routine guidance on theordinary.com and it was helpful. It made it way easier to figure out what I actually needed instead of just buying random products and hoping for the best. The only thing is, a few of the explanations were still a little confusing if you’re new to skincare. But overall, my order went fine and my skin’s doing okay so far.

"Refund came through, just took longer than expected"
I ended up returning my order and did get my refund, but it took a little longer than I was expecting. Customer service was okay once they replied, but the responses were slow. Not a terrible experience overall, though I do think it could be better. Curious if other people had the same wait time with returns?

"Almost Gave Up, But Glad I Didn’t"
I’ll be honest, I broke out during the first couple of weeks and was really close to quitting. It felt like my skin was purging, so I tried to stay patient and kept the rest of my routine super simple. I’m glad I stuck with it because my skin is looking much clearer now. Shipping was totally fine too, no issues there. seeing my skin finally calm down has been such a relief.

"Nice serum, but I’m still waiting on an apology"
I ordered a serum from theordinary and, to be honest, the product itself is really nice. The texture is light, not sticky at all, and it sinks in quickly after I apply it. I really don’t like when skincare just sits on my face, so I appreciate that this one absorbs well and feels comfortable under moisturizer. That said, the experience wasn’t perfect, and I do feel like an apology from the company would be the right thing. The serum works for me and I’d probably buy it again, but the customer experience could’ve been handled better.

"Good Serums, Packaging Could Be Better"
I do like the serums overall, or at least I think I do, but the droppers can be kind of annoying. Some of them don’t pick up much product, and other times it gets messy around the cap, which makes me wonder if I’m doing something wrong. The pump dispensers are a little better, I guess, but they’re still not perfect. It’s not a bad product by any means, I just wish the packaging was easier to use.

"Reliable delivery that’s actually worth it"
I’ve ordered from them a few times now, the delivery has been spot on every time. Everything shows up when it’s supposed to, nothing’s been missing, and I haven’t had to deal with any random delays. For me, that kind of consistency makes it really good value...

I’ve been really happy with The Ordinary because it lets me try different skincare products without spending a ton. The packaging and formulas aren’t fancy, but i kind of like that. It feels simple, straightforward, and easy to fit into my routine and budget. For me, it’s a solid choice if you want decent skincare without feeling like you’re overpaying

"Actually calmed my skin down"
I was kind of skeptical at first, and I still don’t think it’s some miracle product, but my irritation really did go away. My skin feels much calmer now and doesn’t have that annoying tight, itchy feeling. I don’t love everything about it, but I can’t really argue with the results.

"I’m way happier with this order than…"
I’m way happier with this order than I expected to be. The products smell super clean and simple, not like someone dumped an entire perfume bottle into them, which is basically a miracle in my book. Strong scents usually make me want to flee the room immediately, so I was dramatic-level relieved when these didn’t bother me at all. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Great value, like I said"
I’ve bought from theordinary.com a few times now and like I said, the prices are really hard to beat. The products are simple, but they actually do what I need them to do, and I like that I’m not paying extra for fancy packaging. Delivery was totally fine too, nothing super special, but no issues either. Like I said, for the money I’m really happy with it and I’ll keep ordering my usual stuff from here.

I’ve been using a few things from The Ordinary for about 2 months now, and my acne has calmed down a lot. It’s not completely gone, but it’s way less red and irritated than it was before. I think the niacinamide and salicylic acid have made the biggest difference for me. My sister actually told me to start slow because my skin reacts to everything, and I’m glad I listened. Shipping was totally fine, and the prices are reasonable too. I’m just relieved I found something that helps without costing a ton.

I’ve been using The Ordinary niacinamide and hyaluronic acid for a few weeks now, my skin just seems calmer? Like one day I noticed my pores didn’t look as irritated, and then I realized the dry patches were barely there anymore too. It’s not some overnight miracle, obviously, but if you keep using it, it does make a difference. Also it layers nicely, which I wasn’t expecting. Overall, I’m really happy with it.

“I haven't decided if it is better but there is a brand sold by Sephora called Inky that is a comparative price point and some of their items have been reviewed by some YouTube influencers I follow as slightly higher quality. Not on everything and not by much!”
